Choose European where practical
We prefer capable European providers when they meet the product's security, reliability, and operational needs.
// built in europe
Unsub is built in Norway, with core infrastructure and self-hosted cookieless analytics in Germany. We choose European providers where practical and publish the tradeoffs when we do not.
Infrastructure receipt
Why location matters
A European company can still depend on global infrastructure. What matters is knowing who handles data, why they receive it, where processing happens, and what safeguards apply.
We prefer capable European providers when they meet the product's security, reliability, and operational needs.
Our vendor register includes non-European and operational providers instead of hiding them behind a narrow definition.
We link to provider sources and state unresolved processing locations or transfer details plainly.
What we can say today
Unsub is developed in Norway. Its core application infrastructure is hosted by Hetzner in Germany.
Our cookieless analytics is self-hosted on that European infrastructure rather than sent to a separate analytics SaaS provider.
Not every external service is European or EEA-only. Authentication, deployment, and other supporting services are documented in our vendor register.
This is not a claim that all processing stays in Europe. It is a commitment to disclose where our providers are based, where they process data when known, and where alternatives remain under review.
